Rev. Dr. Diana Gibson

I would like to nominate the Rev. Dr. Diana Gibson, who has been a leader with Christian Peace Witness for Iraq, Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice, the Santa Clara County Council of Churches, and has taught at Santa Clara University and Pacific School of Religion. From ducking bullets in El Salvador in the 1980's to being arrested in front of the White House in 2006, to holding prayer vigils for murder victims in San Jose California, she has been a constant champion of peace and social justice and has inspired so many to follow in those causes.
